China-Tianyi Pavilion
Built in the Ming Dynasty, the pavilion, which is also a library
is widely known as China's oldest extant private library and
contains a collection of 300,000 volumes of rare editions of
Chinese classics. It is also well noted for the landscaped
garden of rockeries, ponds and bamboo groves in a style typical
of South China.
